Ideeli's Vera Wang Giveaway

Magic Touch
If you star as a guest judge on the highly popular Project Runway, you know you've made it big in the fashion world. Case in point: Vera Wang, a designer whose wedding dresses, ready-to-wear collections, department store diffusion lines, and accessories are equally coveted across the globe. After getting her start in the bridal business and clocking in more than a decade of dressmaking, Wang has launched a fragrance line, published a wedding guide, and soon after debuted ready-to-wear, lingerie, accessories, and products for the home. Each represents the hardworking designer's aesthetic of feminine looks with quirky design details.
Today Vera Wang's accessories collections continue her legacy of whimsical elegance. Mixing rough and polished elements, her jewelry pieces evoke romantic looks with luxe materials like silk, crystals, and chains. Whether it's statement bib necklaces or chunky cuffs and delicate pendants, Wang graces each with her artsy yet refined touch. Every look, including this special necklace, is a winner. Wearing it just might make you a household name.

Ideeli's Rebecca Minkoff sale

Starstruck
With a devoted following of both style mavens and stars, there's no denying it - handbag designer Rebecca Minkoff is a celebrity in her own right. Starting out as a clothing designer who began sewing at 8 years old, Minkoff founded her apparel line in 2001. Her first handbag collection quickly followed and become a sensation in Tinseltown and the world over. And to think, it all started with a style called the Morning After Bag, created for Minkoff's friend, actress Jenna Elfman. Just like this initial classic piece, each design that Minkoff creates offers style, function, and a bit of cheek.
A favorite choice for red carpet events and paparazzi-worthy outings, Minkoff's bags are both eye-catching and versatile, executed in brightly hued leathers and intricate detailing. Whether you're coveting a bold clutch for night, or a roomy satchel for day, this designer has your bag. With these new pieces in your wardrobe, you just might define a whole new meaning for the phrase "arm candy."

Ideeli's Valentino Sunglasses Sale

La Dolce Vita
Once in a rare while, a designer emerges who unites sheer passion with striking precision. Leaving Voghera while still a teen and heading to Paris to pursue his love of fashion, Valentino is one such gem. The fledgling designer apprenticed with the greats including Jean Desses and Guy Laroche before returning home to establish his first atelier in Rome in the 1960s. With elegant silhouettes and sophisticated details, Valentino's early collections received instant success.
This was Hollywood's "la dolce vita" era, when Italy became the backdrop for pictures that would later become iconic films of Tinseltown's golden age. The starlets began to arrive and Valentino quickly mastered the art of dressing these beauties. By the mid-'60s, he was the undisputed king of Italian couture, with a clientele that included fashion plates including the polished Jackie Kennedy and the glamorous Elizabeth Taylor. His unfaltering commitment to elegance continues to resonate today. As such, he has been honored with the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award from the Council of Fashion Designers of America, as well as with the French Legion of Honour from President Chirac. From haute couture to accessories, Valentino's creations embody timeless style and reminds us how sweet life truly is.

Ideeli's YSL Giveway

Daring Darling
Algerian-born Yves Saint Laurent is regarded as one of the greatest French fashion designers of the twentieth-century. Interested in fashion from a very early age, Laurent submitted three sketches to a contest for young fashion designers organized by the International Wool Secretariat. Though only 14 years old at the time, he took third prize and traveled to Paris to receive his award. Here, he met Michel de Brunhoff, the editor-in-chief of Paris Vogue, who encouraged the young designer to relocate to Paris and study fashion.
Laurent followed Brunhoff's advice and moved to Paris to work for Christian Dior. Laurent's innate talent shone through and he became the head designer for the label at only twenty-one, after the untimely death of the master. Backed by this experience, Yves Saint Laurent founded his self-titled label in 1962 with partner Pierre Berge. Laurent produced clothes of striking beauty infused with classic sex appeal. From his famous Piet Mondrian shift dresses to his revolutionary tailored tuxedo suit for women, his collections and accessories soon became famed for their daring but elegant looks, a reputation that still holds true today.
