For years, Deborah Lippmann has worked with high-profile celebrities, perfecting red carpet manicures and partnering with A-listers — including Sarah Jessica Parker and Renee Zellweger — to create nail lacquers for her line. For spring, Lippmann expands her high-end line with two new nail lacquer colors.
Purple Rain, created through a collaboration with fashion designer Zac Posen and named for Prince's iconic song, is an edgy violet designed for Posen's spring collection. Pretty Young Thing, a soft, feminine shade of coral pink, is inspired by spring runway trends of floral and flowing dresses.
The Lippmann collection is free of formaldehyde, toluene and dibutyl phthalates. The nail enamels are $15 each, available at Barneys New York, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus and online at http://www.lippmanncollection.com/.
