How to Spot a Fake Counterfeit Designer Handbag

If you missed Katie Couric's show yesterday, the theme was Counterfeit Handbags. They spoke about the production and sale of counterfeit goods. It is a global, multi-billion dollar problem and one that has serious economic ramifications for Governments, businesses and consumers. Counterfeiting is everywhere - it can affect what we eat, what we watch, what medicines we take and what we wear - and all too often the link between fake goods and transnational organized crime is overlooked in the search for knock-offs at bargain-basement prices. A counterfeit handbag is often created in a sweatshop, in violation of child labor laws, anti-sweatshop laws and basic human rights.

There are times however that we don't know we are purchasing a fake product. Obviously, if you are paying $50.00 for a New Season Louis Vuitton Handbag, you probably already know it is fake. But, how do you spot a fake handbag?
